FREE Singles Pizza Dinner & Interactive Talk

Saturday, July 19th

@ the Parlor of Grace United Methodist Church

6:00 p.m.  Pizza Dinner

6:30-8:00  Interactive Talk: "Have Singles Given Up on Marriage?"

How many people have told you, “I’m never getting married/married again?”  It surprises me how many Christian singles have told me that.  And yet…they still date…  So has the institution of marriage become obsolete even among Christians?  We invite you to brainstorm with us the various answers to this question.  The evening will include group discussions, humorous video clips, music & scripture.  Two married couples will also be in the audience to answer your burning questions regarding their courtship & marriage.

Join our CREATING LASTING LOVE MEETUP GROUP:  There's no cost to be a member and you can see pictures of other singles who are attending and interested in personal growth.  Click on this link to check it out:  http://singles.meetup.com/1913/

SPONSOR:  Grace U.M.C., 4905 E. Yale Ave., Denver (2 Blks. West of I-25)  Use the West doors--the Parlor is the first door on the right.

DIRECTIONS & PARKING:  From I-25 & YALE Ave. Exit - Go West on YALE and use the far Right lane.  Go 2 Blocks and watch for the sign that says "GRACE PARKING" and turn Right into the drive.  The Parking Lot is BEHIND the church.  You can only get to this parking lot from the East side of the church.  There is no entrance to the parking lot from Eudora Street.

If you miss the sign, you can turn Right and park on Eudora Street, if there are any spaces left.

(This talk is for singles who struggle with sexual purity and are ambivalent towards marriage due to various fears, but who want to develop a positive attitude toward marriage, eventually experience a healthy, lasting marriage, and perhaps even have children.  It is not for the singles who have decided to remain celibate for the rest of their lives and want nothing to do with dating and romance.)
