These "personal growth" workshops are designed for groups of 8 to 16 people and are very interactive.  The format includes: small group discussions, media messages, humor, music and learning games.  In an atmosphere of friendly fun, there is a lot of opportunity for sharing insights and making discoveries about past relationship patterns.  The unique aspect of these workshops is the visual aids that create a memorable learning experience.

Our proactive concept is the belief that relationships will not end in heartbreak or divorce, if singles BEGIN the dating process with interactive, preparatory experiences that increase social skills, confidence, and the knowledge to make better choices.

These Christian-based workshops are open to all types of single people (never-married, divorced, widowed) of all faiths who want to experience a healthy, committed relationship at some point in their future.  Brief passages of scripture are shared in each workshop.  Click on the workshop title to view schedule and details:

In order to make sure we provide a safe environment, all participants must agree to abide by the following Ground Rules.

GROUND RULES:

* Keep all personal information shared confidential.

* Stay focused on the topic at hand. Please use the break time for personal conversations and the exchanging of phone numbers or wait until AFTER a workshop is over.

* Be on time, or let host/facilitator know if you'll be late or need to cancel.

* Be courteous and respectful of others by keeping your sharing to no more than a couple minutes so that everyone has a chance to share.

* Use active listening when people are sharing (validate and empathize with what they've shared). Refrain from giving unsolicited advice. We're not here to fix each other, but to work on our own stuff. This gives the workshop a "safe" feeling.

* It's ok to take an ETO (Emotional Time-Out) and leave the room for a few minutes.

* Understand that the workshops are an educational experience and NOT therapy. An open-minded attitude and participation in the exercises are the keys to learning.
